Our
Art Inventory Management System (AIMS™) is designed to address the unique demands associated
with art and manuscript management.
AIMS™ uses an innovative approach to archival management
that enables authorized personnel to easily organize, manage, and
view information and images relating to inventoried items.
The
result is a web-based virtual gallery that has the added benefit of
organizing the physical galleries they represent. AIMS™ has been used to organize and manage
collections of paintings, manuscripts, rare books, sculptures, commemorative medals, and a variety of other medias.

Our
Art Inventory Management System
The
Art Inventory Management System (AIMS™), enables museums, galleries, and
serious private
collectors to easily manage collections of art, historic
manuscripts, books, and other valued items. Once entered
into inventory using the user-friendly AIMS™ Control Panel,
items can be quickly located and viewed by conducting simple searches
from your PC. Search for items in your collection based upon user-defined
criteria such as media type, subject
category, dates of origin*, item number, or collection location*.
AIMS™ generates a variety of reports, and can be configured and updated to
meet your evolving reporting requirements. Collection Valuation,
Storage Locations, and De-accessioning Reports are just a few
examples of the standard reports that come with each AIMS™
system. Reports can be added to list inventoried items
relating to specific categories of interests, such as Native
Americans, Presidential documents, sculptures, or any other topic that
is of interest to you.

Art
inventory management begins with the use of our
inventory entry forms. You may do this yourself, or arrange
for Love Consulting to do this for you. In addition to names,
dates, descriptions, and prices paid, the AIMS Inventory Entry
Form also allows you to record information such as size, purchase details, classification
categories, and much, much more. After details have been
recorded on these forms, this information is entered into the
AIMS database.
The Art Inventory Management System by Love Consulting has been
used to manage large collections containing, paintings, coins,
sculptures, stamps, rare books, historic documents, and many other
items. Customization can be arranged so that our system meets
your unique needs.

Collection Care and Confidentiality
|
Love consulting has worked with collections which have included extremely rare and
historic manuscripts. We have also worked with collections
containing the original artistic works of many well-known artists. We
understand and respect the privacy and security issues of our
clients, and take painstaking care while we organize, catalog,
and photograph the items to be placed into our Art Inventory
Management System (AIMS™).
We are also skilled at minor repairs and framing of documents, and
have produced custom bound books for display
purposes.

Some
of our clients like to exhibit their collections at universities,
museums, or in other forums for audiences who are interested in
history, culture, and other forms of the visual arts.
The opening of an exhibit often features a discussion of the
works, and allows attendees an opportunity to learn
and share information about the various collections.
Love Consulting has produced numerous presentations featuring
these priceless collections. The presentations facilitate
exhibit dedications on opening night. Our attention to
details, and our skill with presentation medias enable us to
present these collections in an interesting and informative manner.

Internet for viewing by the general public, or password protected

Galleries can also by placed on private networks for maximum
privacy, or onto CD-ROMS or DVDs for greatest portability. |
